Three Guys. Two Weeks.
Loads of Booze.
Three Guys.
We might not be The Lone Gunmen, but we come pretty damn close. After graduating from Lafayette College as early as 1994, we each went our separate ways: Tom, to work at Netscape during its golden years; Brad, to pursue his career in Syracuse, New York; and Biggles, to pursue a graduate degree in neurophysiology at Purdue University. Within the past year, for various reasons, and along with our housemate, Lori (who went to high school with Tom and Biggles), we all decided to move to Boston, Massachusettes, and are now headquartered out of a house in Somerville.

Two Weeks.
At some point in the last year, the household decided to spend New Year's Eve, 2000, in Sydney, Australia, simply because we thought the fireworks from previous year's millennium celebration looked really cool. By November, we had all booked our tickets, and by the end of the year, we were all in Australia, though Lori spent much of her time on her own.

Loads of Booze.
There isn't one of us in our house who doesn't enjoy a night of heavy drinking, though Biggles is a recent convert, having just started his study of inebriated neurophysiology back in August, 2000. Every night in the land down under was spent with a bottle in hand, as was some of the plane trips. Our favorite Australian beverage: Cascade Premium Lager. Goes down easy, tastes light, and is simply loaded with alcohol.
