Photos - Brisbane Jan 8-10 The Crocodile Hunter Bonus Section Biggles Presents Australia		December 31, 2000 New Year's Eve New Year's Eve began around noon at an Italian Restaraunt within The Rocks. After their housemate, Lori, left to hang with other friends, Tom, Brad, and Biggles continued to drink with the locals and other foreigners, all of who soon filled the streets, restaraunts, and pubs of The Rocks and Circular Quay. Fireworks went off at 9 pm and midnight, though our heroes didn't officially end their evening until 3 am, fifteen hours after they started. Biggles and Brad, with their housemate Lori, began celebrating New Year's Eve around noon at what became known as the "Dirt Pizza" Cafe. Ya gotta love no open container laws. Biggles sure does... The 9 pm fireworks weren't quite as cool as the midnight ones. From left to right, Brad, Cordelia (we think), Biggles, and Karen (we think). A very warm beer. The girl of Biggles' dreams... Biggles, Cordelia, and *gasp* Tom! Biggles, Brad, and Tom chill out with their new-found friend. She wants to run for cover... Fireworks above the bridge, as seen from below the bridge. More of the same. Even more bridge fireworks. The midnight firework display over Sydney Harbour and Opera House. The finale. The Rocks, slightly after midnight, as the party begins to wind down. McDonald's closed down the evening by throwing their own party at 3 am. At the end of the night, all that was left upon the bridge was the rainbow kangaroo (or a very odd portrayal of kangaroo gametes).
